As most of our customers and dealers know, there are poor-quality,
inexpensive copies of Yucca Flats saddle blankets being sold on the market.
 We have seen these unauthorized copies in Europe, in Canada and in
many tack stores in the United States.  Yucca Flats original designs are
protected by registered copyrights.  Copying these designs is illegal and can
result in significant financial liability as several tack wholesalers have found
out.  We were able to stop one large Texas tack operation from reselling
these latest copies and will take action against others if necessary.

We have not been able to establish with certainty the identity of the
manufacturer of these blankets and we would welcome any assistance to do
so.  We are aware of the identity of the traveling salesman who represents
these blankets as his own but we have reason to believe that the
manufacturer is another company which has previously copied our designs.
