We know it's tempting to take short cuts and there are some unscrupulous
companies out there who have reproduced our copyrighted designs and
made saddle blankets with them.  Copying our designs is bad enough but
one or two of these companies have even advertised these cheap copies as
genuine "Yucca Flats" saddle blankets.

There is a saying that "Imitation is the highest form of flattery."  However, we
have spent considerable amounts of money and time in developing our line
of saddle blankets designs.  In the past we have taken legal action against
these counterfeiters and in several cases we have reached settlements
involving significant dollar sums.  The judicial system takes copyright
violations seriously, it seems.  If you are tempted to copy our designs,
please reconsider and respect our efforts to develop a unique line of saddle
blankets.
